Mrs. Lint, Principal
Welcome to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Early Learning Center
My name is Kim Lint and it is a privilege to serve as your principal.
We are committed to Promoting Lifetime Achievement for Young Learners.
Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of serving in a variety of roles, each of which has shaped my ability to lead with empathy and focus on instructional excellence. I began as a classroom teacher for grades K-4 and later expanded my role as a Music teacher for K-5. I have also served as an Instructional Coach/New Teacher Mentor and Curriculum Specialist. Most recently, I held the position of Assistant Principal at Freedom Elementary, where I gained invaluable leadership experience and developed a deep understanding of the needs and challenges within our school community.
In May of 2021, I earned my Rank 1 certification in Supervisor of Instruction from the University of the Cumberlands. In addition, I was honored to be accepted into the Leadership Cohort at Murray State University, where I completed my third master’s degree in Educational Leadership and Supervision. This academic journey has further strengthened my ability to lead, support staff, and drive student achievement.
I have always had a strong connection to the Christian County community, where I grew up surrounded by my parents, brother, and sister. My roots here run deep, and I feel truly privileged to serve as an educator in an area that I hold so dear. My family and I now live in Hopkinsville, where we have five children and nine grandchildren, who are a constant source of joy and inspiration.
I am excited about the opportunity to continue supporting the students, staff, and families at Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Early Learning Center, and I look forward to the work we will accomplish together in the years ahead.
Sincerely,
Kim Lint
